Amy Snyder

Coppell ISD
Chemistry teacher
Coppell High School
I've been teaching Science since the late 90's, and love the ever-changing paradigm shifts of Education. I've taught all levels of Bio, Chem, and Physics over the years. This will be my 7th year at CHS, and my 10th year teaching AP Chemistry. My passion is for helping kids learn and grow through nurturing relationships and challenging environments. Recently, I've been focusing on cognitive science, and how to help kids learn how to learn. I've been doing some action research in my classes by utilizing retrieval practice techniques and the 4 C's- and I am always looking for new activities and ideas. I plan to use SBG this upcoming year in AP Chemistry- and would love to learn about others' experiences with it!
